SPAHN, Charles J., Jr. (Dubuque, IA, July 1, 1907--Dubuque, IA, Dec. 7, 2001). Spahn served as president of the SPAHN AND ROSE LUMBER COMPANY, co-founded by his father, from 1950 to 1972. From 1972 to 1978 he served as chairman of the board and chief executive officer until his retirement.
