Nagele, Frank. (Dubuque, IA--Dubuque, IA, Apr. 11, 1979). President, Local 289, American Federation of Musicians.  Nagele served over twenty-five years as the president of the local musicians union.  His work was occasionally dangerous with a death threat being issued once.  Another time he was the person responsible for telling the leader of a big-name orchestra that it could not perform at a dance hall being boycotted for hiring non-union musicians.
