SCHOEN'S ANTIQUES. Well-known locally for the Indian statue sitting outside at a table, the business had been in operation in Dubuque for 26 years when it was sold in 1999 to DUBUQUE INITIATIVES. The business attracted such visitors as the Statler Brothers who regularly appeared at the DUBUQUE COUNTY FAIR and even Sylvester Stallone when he was in town making the movie F.I.S.T.
The 1977 Dubuque City Directory listed 107 Locust.
The 1980 through 1985 Dubuque City Directory listed 107 Locust and 144 Locust.
