REYNOLDS, Freda M. (Ste. Marie, IL, June 8, 1923--Dubuque, IA, Feb. 26, 2017). The eldest daughter of Henry J. and Lillian Catherine (Yager) Kirts, Freda started her life-long teaching career on an emergency teaching certificate in one of the last one-room schoolhouses in southern Illinois.
