DODGE HOUSE MOTEL. Located on the northern side of Dodge Street (Highway 20) just west of the JULIEN DUBUQUE BRIDGE, the Dodge House was constructed in 1962 at 701 Dodge and removed when the highway was reconstructed in the 1990s.
The motel was owned by Anthony Helling who also operated SANDY'S DRIVE INN and for many years operated TONY'S CAFE. The business was renamed DODGE HOUSE BEST WESTERN RESTAURANT & GYPSY LOUNGE.
