CUSHING, Harry. (Dubuque, IA, Nov. 5, 1889--Dubuque, IA, Mar. 23, 1950). Owner, Cushing Casket Company.  Cushing, associated with the [[DUBUQUE CASKET COMPANY]] for twenty-six years, started his own company in August 1945 and operated it until his death.

Active in the Masonic Lodge, he was a past monarch of the Dubuque Oxus Grotto, past watchman of the shepherd of the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, and at the time of his death was a worthy patron of the Julien Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
