DIAMOND'S CAFETERIA AND GRILLE. One of Dubuque's favorite restaurants, Diamond's had the motto "The Finest in Foods." The restaurant was located at the corner of 9th and Main STREETS and, according to the postcard, was air-conditioned by Frigidaire.

The 1923 and the 1929 Dubuque City Directory listed the location at the basement of the Federal Bank Building.

The 1934 Dubuque City Directory through 1942 Dubuque Classified Business Directory listed 902-10 Main.

The 1948 through 1966 Dubuque City Directory listed 902 Main.
