Arthofer was a member of the Dubuque Chamber of Commerce, International Brotherhood of Magicians, and the Dubuque Electric League.

ARTHOFER, Clarence J. (Dubuque, IA, May 25, 1913--Dubuque, IA, Jan. 11, 1995). Arthofer graduated from COLUMBIA ACADEMY and owned and operated UNIVERSAL ELECTRIC COMPANY.
