The motel was owned by Anthony Helling who also operated [[SANDY'S DRIVE INN]] and for many years operated [[TONY'S CAFE]].

DODGE HOUSE MOTEL. Located on the northern side of Dodge Street (Highway 20) just west of the JULIEN DUBUQUE BRIDGE, the Dodge House was constructed in 1962 at 701 Dodge and removed when the highway was reconstructed in the 1990s.
