KRETSCHMER, Charles (Dubuque, IA--Dubuque, IA, Feb. 15,1979). President, [[KRETSCHMER-TREDWAY COMPANY]]. Kretschmer, president of Kretschmer-Tredway for thirty-two years, was also the president of Dubuque Steel Products Co. He held memberships in many civic organizations including the Dubuque Recreation Commission, Dubuque [[BOY SCOUTS]], and the [[DUBUQUE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE]]. Kretschmer was an active member of the [[LORAS COLLEGE]] Alumni Association and was a founder of the Dubuque American Legion Post No.6 and the American Legion Drum Corps.
