POINT NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION. The Point Neighborhood Association was established around 2010. (1)  Geographically the Association represents an area from [[FIVE POINTS]] to [[EAGLE POINT]] which in 2010 included 876 families and many businesses. (2)

Formed in March 2007 with the leadership of [[SUTTON, Lynn|Lynn SUTTON]], the group was named from the streets in the area which were named for Ivy League schools--Harvard, Oxford and Yale. (1)  


Meeting monthly in the basement of [[HOLY TRINITY CATHOLIC CHURCH]], the members host a speaker as well as a police officer who comes to inform the group of potential problems and to hear of any suspicious activity.  The organization is funded by donations and proceeds from the Annual Garage Sale held in May.
Initially concerned with occurrences in the area that caused safety concerns, the organization continued with annual cleanups and neighborhood picnics. (2)
