WILSON, Henrietta
WILSON, Henrietta. (Erie, PA--Dubuque, IA, Mar. 12, 1898). Henrietta was one of the founding members of the Northern Iowa Woman Suffrage Association. She was married to David S. WILSON and the sister-in-law of Thomas S. WILSON who introduced a bill in the 1866 Iowa General Assembly giving married women the right to their own earnings under certain circumstances. She was thirty-six when she became interested in women's voting rights.
