WALKER, John Milton
WALKER, John Milton (Camden, NJ, Oct. 29, 1876--lowa City, IA, June 12, 1946). Walker came to Dubuque immediately after completing his internship and specialized in neurology and psychiatry. Locally Walker helped organize and served as vice-president of the DUBUQUE COMMERCIAL CLUB and was president of the DUBUQUE AUTOMOBILE CLUB.
Employed as a jail physician by the U.S. government, Walker was president of the Board of Commissioners of Insanity of Dubuque County, medical superintendent of ST. JOSEPH'S SANITARIUM, and a staff member of FINLEY HOSPITAL (THE).
