VESSEL SYSTEMS, INC. A manufacturer of pressurized tanks, Vessel System leased the property of WATUBO-TEK INDUSTRIES in 1993. Ken and Ellie Heitritter purchased the assets of the former company from Ralph Hartlep, Jr. in November and planned on opening for business in January, 1994.

Vessel Systems, Inc. would manufacture pressurized tanks used in water softening or nitrate removal, for air receivers and above-ground and underground storage tanks. Company officials estimated that 90% of the business would come from outside Iowa.
