VALLET POULTRY COMPANY INC.
VALLET POULTRY COMPANY INC. A branch of the Vallet Poultry Company of Sabula, Iowa located in Dubuque in 1962. Increased demand for the full line of poultry in an area of one hundred miles around Dubuque required the expansion. A fleet of six trucks was planned to cover the routes with from six o ten employees to operate the plant. (1) The company in 1964 through 1970 was located at 76 Main Street where it was involved in custom cutting and packing of poultry. The building before renovation had been Tischhauser Motors.
The 1972 through 1989 Dubuque City Directory listed 1230 E. 12th.
The 1993 Dubuque City Directory listed Vallet Food Service Inc. at the same address.
