UNION AT THE MARINA. Groundbreaking began on the $55 million affordable-housing complex began in the winter of 2024. The plans for Union at the Marina called for 201 one-, two-, and three-bedroom units for those earning an income at or below 70% of the area's median income. They were scheduled to be opened in the fall of 2026. An estiated $17 million in state and local subsidies were expected to be included.

The grounds of the complex were to include a playground, community center, fitness center, picnic area, dog-walking area and property manageent. The apartments would be close to the A. Y. MCDONALD PARK and Sutton Pool. The apartments would have service from [[JULE (THE)].
