TRIBE OF JONATHAN LADIES' AID SOCIETY. Organized in 1878, the organization was to carry out the objectives of the TRIBE OF JONATHAN NO. 1 which included relieving the needy and supplying aid to those "needing reformation and restoration to the better walks of life."
