TOUSSAINT-TREXLER CO. Toussaint-Trexler, a manufacturer, packer and jobber of sauerkraut, vinegar, pickles, olives, condiments, pickled mets, extracts, soda fountains and supplies, cafe and bar glassware, and silverware utensils was established on January 1, 1902. It has previously managed the same type of business for the M. M. WALKER COMPANY for five years. Marshall was anxious to sell the business to focus attention on the sale of fruit. The new company would continue to do business in the Walker building.

The 1903 Dubuque County Rural Route Directory and the 1904-1905 Dubuque City Directory located this business at 106-112 South Main.
