SPECHTENHAUSER, Richard (Dubuque, IA-- ). As a ninth grade student at JEFFERSON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL, Richard had the distinction of earning an auctioneer's diploma from an auctioneer school in Mason City, Iowa. He was the youngest student in the school. Since earning his diploma, he assisted his brother Otto Spechtenhauser, Jr. who was also an auctioneer.
