ROOT & CUTTER. The 1868 Guide, Gazetteer and Directory of the Dubuque & Soux (sic) City Railroad and 1868-69 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located at the corner of 8th and Main.
The building called the Sanford Block was replaced by the SECURITY BUILDING.
