ROGER BROTHERS' CIRCUS. Sponsored by the Oxus Grotto to raise money for for its Cerebral Palsy Fund, the circus came to Dubuque on June 25, 1952. At the time, the show was considered one of the three largest in the United States. The big top tent pitched on the Fourth Street Extension circus grounds was expected to hold 3,000 spectators.
