REGENCY THERMOGRAPHERS. In January 1970, Regency Thermographers, a branch of Williamhouse Regency, Inc. of New York announced its intention to construct a branch of their company in Dubuque. The company, located on three floors of the Kirby Building, would be involved in the specialty printing of thermographed and copper plate engraved wedding invitations, social and business announcements and business stationery. In August, 2006 officials of Taylor Corporation, the parent firm of Regency, announced it would not confirm reports of the company leaving Dubuque taking 150 jobs. (2)
