PHI ETA DELTA SORORITY. This sorority of young ladies from each of the classes from DUBUQUE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL organized in 1900 for the purpose of meeting at stated intervals for social activity and enjoying a banquet at the end of each school year. The first annual banquet was held on June 2, 1901 at the HOTEL JULIEN. (1)
In January 1903, members of the group were initiated into Beta Beta Phi, a national society, which had branches in Chicago, Minneapolis, New York City, Boston, and Washington, D. C. (2_
