MONTAGUE, James F. (Boston, MA, Feb. 22, 1853-- ). Montague came to Dubuque in 1870 and learned the sign-making trade. He established the KEY CITY SIGN WORKS and was a dealer in ornamental glass at 38 Eighth Street in 1878. He also made a specialty of painting fine carriages. (1)

He moved to Marion, Iowa. (2)
