MICHAEL O'BRIEN BLOCK
MICHAEL O'BRIEN BLOCK. According to the Daily Republican of October 10, 1856, Michael O'Brien constructed this three-story residential block in 1856.
L. A. Lull, music professor and musical instrument teacher, lived in 1124 Locust as of 1872.
William Boyd ALLISON lived in 1134 Locust in 1869. He paid for $700 of improvements in 1870. A brick addition was completed for $2,000 in 1872; $4,000 of improvements in 1877, and in 1899 'Colonial style' improvements were installed. The building was a five-plex as of 1971 when the building was part of the JACKSON PARK HISTORICAL DISTRICT.
