MCDADE, Mary Theresa Francis (Sister). (Chicago, IL-Dubuque, IA, Dec. 12, 1978). McDade, the former Helen McDade, gave thirty-five years of service as a faculty member of CLARKE COLLEGE, dean of women from 1943 to 1946, and chairperson of the department of education. She also served as an assistant principal at WAHLERT CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL. She was a professor of education and psychology of the Catholic University (Washington, D.C.) during its Midwest Extension at LORAS COLLEGE.

Sister McDade was chairperson of the BVM Community Board of Education, a member of the Executive Board of the Iowa Association of Student Teachers, and a member of the Archdiocesan Board of Education.
