KIES-BRANNON MONUMENTS. The 1962 Dubuque City Directory listed 700 Iowa. The hypenated name indicated the purchase of the HENRY KIES MONUMENT COMPANY in 1961 by Vince and Mary Lou Brannon. This company became the BRANNON MONUMENT COMPANY.
