KEY CITY BUILDING CLUB. This organization incorporated on April 8, 1902 was formed solely for the purpose of building, owning and renting a building at 9th and Locust STREETS. It was originally constructed for the DUBUQUE CLUB but was later occupied by the Chamber of Commerce.

In 1922 the Chamber purchased the building as a community center for all organizations and citizens of Dubuque. During the month of March, 1922 a total of nearly thirty different organizations and groups used the building for a total of ninety-five meetings.

With the purchase of the building, the stockholders of the Key City Club dissolved their corporation.
