KELLER, Mary Kenneth (Sister) (Unknown--Dubuque, IA, Jan. 10, 1985). Sister Keller founded and directed the computer science department at CLARKE COLLEGE for twenty years.

Considered a leading authority on computers when she came to Dubuque in 1964, Sister Keller had assisted in the development of BASIC computer language while at Dartmouth College. One of the first women in the United States to earn a doctorate in computer science, Sister Keller authored four books on the subject.
