KAISER, Marlene M.
KAISER, Marlene M. (Lancaster, WI, Apr. 7, 1935--Dubuque, IA, Feb. 11, 2025) The only child of Virgil and Mabel (Schumacher) Millin, Marlene became a member of Davies Memorial United Church of Christ, Potosi in 1947. At the time of her death, she was the oldest living member of the church and continued to love and support the church she grew up in. When she moved to Dubuque in 1958, she worshiped faithfully at WESTMINSTER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH until her death.
Marlene graduated from Potosi High School in 1952. In 1956 she graduated with a degree in elementary education from Wisconsin State College, which later became the University of Wisconsin, Platteville. From 1956 until 1958, Marlene taught at Washington Elementary School in Janesville, WI. From 1958 until her retirement in 1994, she taught at IRVING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in Dubuque.
