IOWA SUPREME COURT. In 1875 the offices for the Iowa Supreme Court were located in the Eagle Block at the corner of Main and 9th Street. (1) The floor was to have a lobby, consultation and court rooms, library and parlor. (2)

On October 21, 1875 the justices were entertained at the residence of Senator William Boyd ALLISON on Locust Street followed by a drive through the city and nearby areas. (3)
