HUNTOON, Del C. (Geanga County, OH, 1835--Dubuque, IA, Apr. 29, 1919). Educated at the State University of Michigan, Huntoon came to Dubuque where he served as the editor of the Times-Journal. He also served as the assistant chairman of the Republican State Central Committee on Iowa.
Huntoon left the newspaper business to work in the insurance industry.
