HOLLAND, George. (Sac City, IA, Nov. 25, 1951--Dec. 31, 2024) George was born to Albert and Leona (Mahler) Holland. He graduated from Waseca Sacred Heart High School in 1969 in Waseca, Minnesota. He continued his education earning a degree from Wayne State College in Nebraska.

George dedicated 50 years of his life educating students and being an advocate for teachers. George held many roles throughout his years in education. Before his retirement, he worked as a specialist for the Keystone Area Education Agency and was one of the coordinators actively involved with students participating in the annual History Day competition. After retirement, he was active in the Retired Teachers Association in Dubuque.
