HODGE, Walter J. (Cedar Rapids, IA, Jan 9, 1913--Dubuque, IA, Jan 15, 1994). In 1958 Hodge was the founder and past president of HODGE TRANSIT WAREHOUSE COMPANY. In 1966 he was one of eighteen people chosen to set up new storage contracts between the United States government and food processors. (1) In 1981 the business expanded with the addition of Hodge Material Handling. (2)
