Herrig, James Wilfred. (Dubuque, IA, Feb. 25, 1950-- ). Running for the Democratic primary in 1982, Herrig did not receive 35% of the votes.
Selected by a special Democratic County Convention, he went on to win in November. In 1986, he was defeated in the Democratic primary by Fred Hall MCCAW, one of the defeated contenders in 1982.
