HARTIG, Richard. (Dubuque, IA, Dec. 2, 1949- ). Owner, president and chief executive officer of HARTIG DRUG COMPANY, Hartig credits his success in business to his insistence on service to the customer. His business was bought from the family estate in 1984.
Considered by associates as an eager participant in committee work, Hartig was a member of the FOUR MOUNDS Task Force; chairperson of the CLARKE COLLEGE; and member of the board of trustees and vice chairperson of the Dubuque Planning and Zoning Commission.
