GRIEP, Clarence. (Shannon City, IA--Dubuque, IA, Feb. 13, 1982). Griep taught history at the UNIVERSITY OF DUBUQUE beginning in 1966.

A member of the university faculty association, Griep also held membership on the board of Transitions to Freedom, Social Concerns Commission of the Dubuque Area Christians United, and the Fellowship of Reconciliation. He was active in the Democratic Party. Upon his death, the university's Faculty Association established the Clarence Griep Peace and Justice Memorial Lectureship in his memory. (2)
