GRAFFORT HOTEL. According to the 1857-1858 Dubuque City Directory, this hotel was located at the corner of 3rd and Bluff. It was not yet opened at the time the directory was printed.

The 1858-1859 through 1878-79 Dubuque City Directory placed the business, the Graffort House, at the same address.

In 1880 the building was purchased and renovated for the GEORGE RICHARDSON'S BOOT AND SHOE FACTORY. (1)
