FUHRMANN, Frank P. (Dubuque, IA, Apr. 4, 1866--Dubuque, IA, Feb. 22, 1950). After attending local schools, Fuhrmann entered into the family business, Fuhrmann Clothing. He took over the business in 1889 and operated it by himself until 1904 when his brother, Joseph, became a partner. The company was then renamed FUHRMANN BROTHERS. When he retired in 1922, his three sons continued the store.
