FROESCHLE, Jennie (Bickel). (Hazleton, PA-- ). A member of the 2009 Sports Hall of Fame of DUBUQUE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, Froeschel graduated from Senior in 1996 as a standout three-sport athlete. She competed in softball, basketball, and golf.

Froeschle earned 1st Team All-Area and 5th Team All-State as a three-year starter in softball. As a three-year starter in basketball, she led the state in 3-point shooting percentage in 1995, was a two-time 2nd Team All MVC (Mississippi Valley Conference) selection, and competed as a starting guard for the Ram's State Runner-Up team in 1994.

It was in golf that Froeschle excelled. She led Ram teams to two MVC championships while earning MVC medalist awards twice. She earned 1st Team All-MVC all four of her high school seasons and finished fourth in the State as a senior. She was awarded a four-year golf scholarship to the University of Northern Iowa and continued to excel.
