FAUST, Noah H. (Pennsylvania, Sept. 1, 1846--Dubuque, IA, Aug. 4, 1910). Faust's parents came to Iowa in 1846 and in the following spring of 1847 they settled in Dubuque. He learned the trade of wood turner, but changed careers and began his business as a dealer in pumps and lightning rods in 1866.

Noah and Minnie Faust lived in Dubuque County, Iowa. Their known children (all born in Iowa) were: Charles Faust, born 1872, moved to St. Joseph, Mo.; William Faust, born 1874, lived in Dubuque Co., Ia.; Minnie Faust, born 1877, married John Blake of Madison, Wisc.; Nettie Faust, born 1879; Noah Faust, Jr.; Herbert M. Faust, lived in Dubuque; Harrison Franklin Faust, born Sept. 22, 1889, married Elise Anderson in Sacramento, Ca, died Oct 31, 1946 in Sacramento. (source: Merrill R.
