DUBUQUE NURSERY. The famous Dubuque Nursery stood about two hundred yards north of the city limits and covered four acres on which, in 1850, were 12,000 apple trees; the proprietor was W. L. Johnson.
In later years it was occasionally listed by its owners, W. H. GUILFORD or W. H. GUILFORD AND SON
The 1948 Dubuque Classified Business Directory listed 780 Seminary.
