DUBUQUE CHORAL CLUB. The organization was established on October 30, 1893 with fifty-seven charter members. The constitution called for the group to establish and maintain a club for the study, cultivation and rendition of music. Meetings were held every Monday evening with dues of $2.00 for ladies and $4.00 for men. (1)

In 1893 the club performed the "Creation" with the Thomas Orchestra at the Omaha Exposition. (2)
