DOLTER, Patrick M. (Dubuque, IA, Jan. 15, 1950--Apr. 2, 2012). The son of Melvin "Ike" and Florence Dolter, Pat attended Sacred Heart, St. Mary's grade school, WAHLERT CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL and graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology from LORAS COLLEGE. He married Karen Prull on Sept. 25, 1982, in Anamosa, Iowa.

Pat worked as a baker and then spent 35 years in the flooring business, installing and also consulting for the Floor Show in Dubuque. For the last nineteen years, he became one of the Tri-States most recognizable advertisers through his television "saving you money" campaign as the manager of American Flooring Outlet in Peosta, Iowa.
