CUSTOM FUTONS. Established by Andy Parker in May 2006 after he graduated from college, Custom Futon in 2010 was located at 2300 John F. Kennedy Road.
Parker got the idea of opening a futon store while working at a similar store in Iowa City. In addition to futons, the business sold bunk beds, day beds, lofts, and platform bedding.
