CUROE, Robert W. (Bernard, IA, Oct. 28. 1925--Dubuque, IA, Oct. 26, 2011). Educated at LORAS ACADEMY, Curoe was a farmer and cattle feeder for many years. He was inducted into the Dubuque County Cattleman's Hall of Fame and served as a director of the Dubuque County Pork Producers.

Curoe worked fourteen years as a ski instructor at SUNDOWN. He was also active in the Human Rights Campaign and PFLAG.
