CONLON, Patrick. (Dubuque, IA- ). In 1972 Conlon was chosen by the twelve member Youth Services Board of Directors to head the Youth Services Bureau. As coordinator, Conlon directed needy Dubuque youth to existing services and agencies, served as liaison between governmental agencies and local youth, and monitored the program's finances.

A 1963 graduate of LORAS COLLEGE with a B.A. in philosophy, Conlon graduated in 1967 from AQUINAS INSTITUTE OF THEOLOGY with an M.A. in theology. In 1984 he was a member of the first class of the Community Leadership Institute sponsored by the Telegraph Herald Community Affairs Department, LORAS COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DUBUQUE, and CLARKE COLLEGE.
