CLEMENS, Leo. (North Washington, IA,Dec. 1, 1908--Dubuque IA, Dec. 28, 1959). Clemens was associated with the TRAUSCH BAKING COMPANY as its office manager for thirty years. Illness forced him to retire, and with his wife he operated the Leo Clemens Microfilming Service for the two years before his death. Clemens served on the PARK BOARD and was its secretary for ten years.

In the community, Clemens was a past president of the Dubuque Kiwanis Club. He served on the board of the Dubuque Chamber of Commerce for three years and was a member of the DUBUQUE SHOOTING SOCIETY and the DUBUQUE TRAVELING AND BUSINESS MEN'S ASSOCIATION.
