BLAIR, Ralph R. (Hardin Co., IA, June 11, 1883--Dubuque, IA, Nov. 24, 1943). For several years following his marriage in 1907 Blair was an agent and telegrapher for the Chicago, Rock Island, and Pacific Railway. He entered active bank management in 1925 and in 1930 became an examiner with the State Banking Department.

He moved to Dubuque on July 1, 1935, as the executive vice-president of the newly established DUBUQUE BANK AND TRUST COMPANY. He was a director of the Chamber of Commerce at the time of his death.
