ADAMS, Olive. (Hinsdale, IL-Dubuque, IA, Sept. 12, 1982). Adams, formerly a teacher in Dubuque and an employee of the ADAMS COMPANY (Encyclopedia Dubuque), served on the board of the YOUNG WOMEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION (Y.W.C.A.), held office in the DUBUQUE FEDERATED WOMEN'S CLUB, and was president, secretary and treasurer of the Dubuque County Library.

For five years, she served as president of the Episcopal Women of Iowa. (1) In 1966 she was elected a director of the DUBUQUE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY. (2)
